What we thought was only going to be a 1 night stay turned into 4. He was so bummed he had to stay yet another day and was feeling so crappy his nurse Autumn brought him a love box. What an amazing gift, it was the first time I’d seen him smile in a few days. He was so grateful and couldn’t believe the awesome gifts that were in the box. What a wonderful idea from a wonderful young girl. |

My son was recently in MGH hospital for surgery and recovery and because of COVID obviously the play room was closed. He had a giant smile on his face when he received one of these boxes. He momentarily forgot his pain while he picked out and opened each item and investigated its purpose.  Thank You!We just wanted to say thank you. Our 7 year old daughter has been quite sick for the last 3 weeks. We ended up in the ER in Barrie on the 23rd of December. She was too sick to open the box she received at that time.... but was SO happy to receive one. It was literally the ONLY "Christmassy" thing she got to do this year. She received a gorgeous blanket in her box which she has had wrapped around her ever since. The nail polish and art supplies were the perfect gift while she was stuck in bed. |  MaKaylaI also want to express my immense gratitude to The Super Sophia Project. Tonight Kami and her mother came by for a little visit and they brought tons of toys, gift cards and LOVE for Harper and her family. They were so appreciative of the Love Box Kami received that they wanted to pay it forward. We are so grateful.  From SiennaDear Sophia, we are currently in the hospital with my 6 year old daughter Sienna. We received your beautiful love box on admission to the pediatrics unit in lakeridge health last night. Instead of sitting and staring at the tv, my daughter and i are using the crafts, colouring and toys that were donated. Thank you for being such a brave girl, and making a difference in kids’ hospital stays, and their parents too. I love how the community comes together to make a difference. |  Jadyn and JordanShe stood in the storm and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails. Jordan and Jadyn are two girls who exemplify the true meaning of hero. They met up at Sickkids Hospital yesterday and Jadyn refilled her Love Box and gifted it to sweet Jordan. It warms my heart to see the LOVE and kindness being spread. She was diagnosed a few days before her 3rd birthday with high risk ALL. She loves to dance however has been slowed down and frustrated due to her diagnosis and muscle atrophy :( She loves the rainbow... but pink or purple if she had to pick and loves dance and princesses ❤️ |
